There is a forword by the artist and accompanying commentary by Ellen Page, Michael Stipe and Yoko Ono. But the main focus here is on the photos Talinski (Berlin based) took of Peaches from 2009 through 2014. According to the one-sheet „Peaches has become a symbol of progressive (and transgressive) pop culture, shattering gender stereotypes, promoting sex positivly, and constantly pushing through boundaries of art and performance.“ Ok.
There is very many photos of her on and offstage in all kind of situations: performing, resting, private – everything a fan can wish to see of a artist one loves. If you dig performance art, you probably know about Peaches, if not you are probably not sure why make this kind of theater.
